The High Court yesterday expressed its displeasure over non-placement before the Parliament of rules banning dissection of animals in schools framed by a committee four months ago. The court directed the Centre to get back to the court with more details while hearing a petition filed by school student Sarika Sancheti and others demanding a ban on the compulsory dissection in the schools biology faculty. The matter will continue in the court on February 25.
