French home appliances giant Groupe Moulinex is setting up two joint ventures in India with Gravs Appliances.
In the first _ a distributing and marketing venture to be formed in the first half of year 2000 _ the $1.5 billion Moulinex will have majority equity with Gravs holding the rest of the equity. The company will be called Moulinex Home Appliances India.
In the second, a manufacturing venture, Gravs is may hold majority equity with Moulinex holding the rest. Moulinex is launching its entire product range in India, after studying the market for nearly 4 years, with Gravs acting as distributor and marketing entity.
