HEG Ltd, the graphite electrode manufacturing company of the Rs 1,370-crore, multi-locational LNJ Bhilwara group, has posted its financial results for the year ended March 31, 1998. The net profit of the company figured at Rs 30.51 crore, a climb of 38 per cent over the previous years figure of Rs 22.17. The turnover of the company stood at Rs 416 crore, a growth of 42 per cent over the previous years figure of Rs 293 crore. The earnings per share has gone up from Rs 5.40 per share last year to Rs 7.50 per share. The Board of Directors have recommended a dividend of 18 per cent. The company has embarked on a Rs 250-crore expansion plan.
