Itc Considering Samadhan

ITC will consider appealing to higher judicial authorities if its Rs 800-crore excise case pending at the Customs Excise & Gold (Control) Appellate Tribunal is defeated. The verdict on the case is expected next Monday. ITC is also considering opting for Kar Vivad Samadhan introduced in this budget.

This was disclosed by ITC chairman Y C Deveshwar to reporters after the company's annual general meeting in Calcutta yesterday.
