Mailing Centre Revenue
The department of posts was earning a revenue of Rs 25 lakh per month from its mass mailing centre at suburban St Thomas Mount, set up in July 1997, which was handling nearly 20 lakh postal articles, Tamil Nadu chief post master general T Bhaskaran said yesterday.
The railway ministry said an agreement with Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd, Chennai, has already been signed for the purpose.
