Meghmani Organics Limited (MOL), a leading player in pigments and pesticide products has registered 38.7 per cent rise in the net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 at Rs 9.75 crore against Rs 7 crore reported in the corresponding period last year.
MOL's net sales from operations has fallen by about 11 per cent to Rs 186 crore for the quarter, down from Rs 209 crore in the same period previous year.
The company noted that the revenue from pigments segment dropped by Rs 11.51 crore during the quarter, while that from agrochemicals segments witnessed a growth and stood at Rs 99.85 crore. The company is one of the largest producers of pigment blue and pigment green in the world.
