Mou With Argentina

India and Argentina have signed an MoU to promote cooperation and exchange of scientific data in Antarctic science. The MoU reaffirms the two countries commitment to the Antarctic treaty and their efforts to uphold the protocol on environment protection. The MoU was signed by a e muthunayagam, secretary of the department of ocean evelopment , and Argentinian ambassador Elba Sampietro. PTI

As a follow up of the mou, the two countries will undertake joint research programmes in areas of global interest, and for the first time, share scientific data from the antarctica.
