Prannoy Roy- controlled New Delhi TV (NDTV) is under extreme pressure these days as STAR TV is slowly taking control of it.
Over the past few months STAR personnel from Hong Kong have been calling the shots, at least where the technicalities are concerned.
The Rupert Murdoch-controlled STAR TV had earlier sent feelers to NDTV expressing its interest in picking an up an equity stake in the Indian software company through its Indian arm, News Television India Ltd (NTIL), but Roy has been resisting such a move.
