The Reserve Bank of India has announced the auction of 91-day Government of India treasury bills of Rs 500 crore on March 6, 1997. The results will be announced the same evening.

The Reserve Bank of India has announced the price list for the following Government of India securitiesRs 102.60 for the 13.65 per cent security maturing in year 1999; Rs 96.48 for the 11.64 per cent year paper maturing in 2000; Rs 103.70 for the 13.85 per cent security maturing in 2001; Rs 92.30 for the 11.0 per cent paper maturing in 2002; Rs 103.21 for the 14 per cent year 2005; Rs 12.5 per cent year 2007; and Rs 3989.80 per 10 grams for Gold Bonds 1998.

The Bank of France and a group of industry professionals said in a report published on Monday all French capital markets, including the stock market, would be converted to a single European currency on January 1, 1999.
