MRTPC should also severely punish liquor companies indirectly advertising their brand names and labels in the name of such petty products, which are very nominally priced for technical purpose of advertising to be distributed free with the main liquor product. MRTPC should take yet another sub-motto initiative to affect a total ban on advertisements of cigarettes also.
Objectionable advertisements are intentionally designed to create controversies. Such controversies make advertised commodities even more popular. Advertisements should be previewed and censored. All persons responsible for objectionable advertisements should be punished. Ortem fans became very popular even after its objectionable advertisement linking these fans to the Rashtrapati Bhawan were withdrawn. Similarly, Cadbury's Gems which wrongly advertised a teacher being converted into an animal by way of cartoons, could create disrespect for teachers even among nursery kids.
