Opel Astra Exported To Nepal

General Motors India Ltd's first Made in India Opel Astra car was exported to Nepal. The company has already appointed a dealer in Kathmandu -- Vijay Motors Pvt Ltd. "With the first car, we will be trying to increase awareness about the model in Nepal. Gradually, as demand picks up, the dealer will start stocking the cars," company officials told UNI here. Initially, the cars would be available in the Nepal market only on demand. "There will be an eight to ten-day waiting period for the car for the first few months, that is till demand picks up." Besides, the company is also close to appointing a dealer for the Bangladesh market.
