Pongal Bonanza For B And C Mill Workers

About 17,000 workers of the Buckingham and Carnatic (B&C) Mills and other spinning mills now under closure in Tamil Nadu will get Rs 400 each for the coming 'Pongal festival, as was given during 'Diwali. State chief minister, M Karunanidhi, passed orders to this effect yesterday, a release said.
