Tn To Supply 100mw To Kerala

Tamil Nadu government yesterday agreed to supply 100 mw of power daily from the state grid to Kerala for two weeks till the onset of the south-west monsoon there. The technical and commercial details of exchange of power would be worked out between the electricity boards officials of the two states today, before the commencement of supply. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi extended this gesture following a plea by a Kerala ministerial team headed by finance minister Sivadasa Menon holding additional charge of electricity.
