The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India will hear the case involving non-implementation of its order by the department of telecommunications today. Hearing on the petition, filed by the Cellular Operators Association of India, was scheduled for yesterday. The petition alleges that DoT has not rolled back the hike in fixed-to-cellular call tariff in non-metro circles, in defiance of the April 25 order of TRAI. Telecom Commission chairman A V Gokak had held a meeting with COAI last month to resolve the outstanding issues. Details of the meeting will be produced at todays hearing.
