Uf Steering Panel Meet On July 2

This has been done in view of the inability of the various constituent groups to meet on June 27 as originally scheduled. The key issue of effecting a hike in petroleum products is on the agenda of the meeting. A senior United Front leader admitted that this would mean a further loss in the oil pool account, but this could not be helped given the pre-occupation of constituent parties before July 2.

The committee has failed to arrive at a consensus on handling the oil situation at its last three meetings.
