Wonderful Eggs?

It is for the Human Rights Commission of the country to make a note of the demand raised by MS Caroline Smith Dewaal, food safety expert at Washington-based Centre for Science in the public interest that the Food & Drug Administration, the US, must give a warning label on egg cartons that would read Caution: Eggs may contain illness causing bacteria. Do not eat raw. Cook eggs until the yolk is firm.
The situation in India is worse. At least, in the US there is a system and human saving organisations to have sufficient funds to have the testings of eggs, if they so desire and thereby they can know the contents of Salmenolla germs dead or alive. But in India there is hardly any organisation, with such facilities, at the best, these eggs are seen by eyes before marketing, and eyes can not see the ingredients of eggs.
How far the government is concerned, if only in acting laws, as we have Consumer Protection Act but nothing could be done to safeguard the health of those who consume eggs.
One can only hope that Human Rights Commission will look into the suitability of eggs for Indians specially keeping in view the Indian climate. One can only hope that certain procedures will be introduced and will be followed rigidly, so that people do not become a victim of propaganda.
