Zensar's net up 101%

Pune based mid-sized IT services and solutions firm Zensar Technologies, part of the RPG Group,has posted double increase in the net profit at Rs 54.56 crore for the first quarter FY12 ended June 30, 2012, up by 101.5 cent from Rs 27.07crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year.

Revenue for the quarter increased 36.5 per cent to Rs 544.29 crore from Rs 398.78 crore in the same quarter last year.

Commenting on results, Ganesh Natarajan, vice chairman and managing director of Zensar Technologies said, "Q1 has been an excellent quarter and demonstrates the robust and risk mitigated nature of our business. Our strong focus on key verticals, diversified geographies and innovation in all our services will ensure that we meet our guidance of 15 to 18 per cent growth in FY 13.” He added, "Along with US and Europe, the company is also expanding its footprint in the West Asia, Asia Pacific and Africa markets from where it is eying sales revenues of $50 million from each region respectively by March 2016 and will be opening delivery centres in these regions."
