In Match 21 of VIVO Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 2018) season six, Monu Goyat’s Haryana Steelers will lock horns with Dabang Delhi at Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Rai, Sonepat. Haryana Steelers have an excellent record against Dabang Delhi as they defeated Delhi in all of their 3 encounters in PKL 5. Two of those matches were very close but the third match was won by Haryana by 18 points. Dabang Delhi have never scored more than 25 points against them. Haryana are on a losing streak of 4 back-to-back games at home after winning their first game and will hope for a positive finish at home tonight and continue their winning run over Delhi. However, Delhi are coming into this game with 8 points in 2 matches so far in Pro Kabaddi 2018 (1 win & 1 tie), which is their best ever start of a PKL campaign.

Haryana Steelers Team News

Haryana Steelers have had a very poor start to season 6, winning just 1 of their 6 matches. This is in stark contrast to the start of their first season in PKL 5 when they lost only one out of their first six games. However, they have had very strong individual raiding performances in the matches so far. All of their 3 main raiders have scored Super 10s, but not found support from fellow raiders on the same night. Vikas scored a Super 10 (11 raid pts) against Puneri Paltan (Match 14) and found support in Monu Goyat (8 raid points), but 3rd raider managed just 1 raid point in the game. In match 18, Naveen scored 15 raid points against Jaipur Pink Panthers, but their 2nd best raider managed just 3 raid points. Monu scored 15 raid points against U Mumba (Match 20), but no other raider managed to score even 5 raid point in the game. This has resulted in them being in 8th place for the team’s average raid points as their average raid points is only 18 per match as a team.

Dabang Delhi Team News

Dabang Delhi’s raiding contingent has collective contributions in PKL 2018 as they have 3 players with at least 10 raid points in two matches. Chandran Ranjit and Pawan Kadian, who were on the bench for the first match have put in great performances. Pawan is yet to win a position in the starting 7 this season but it is likely to happen soon. Pawan scored 7 raid points against Pune in just 5 raids (Raid SR – 140) and scored 3 important raid points to level the score against Gujarat. Naveen Kumar has been impressing in his debut season as well, scoring 12 raid points from his first two games. Together, the three have 37 raid points in 2 games at a Raid SR of 50. They could go on to form a very good trio for Delhi.
