says that he feels incomplete without his gadgets. The senior country manager, AOL Mobile, loves his iPod and swears by it. Srivastava hopes one day to create a device that would be a phone, an entertainment device that would also double up as an ewallet.

How many gadgets do you carry?

On a normal day, I carry my laptop, mobile phone and PDA. Without any of these gadgets, I feel incomplete and even helpless.

What is your favourite gadget to date?

I love my iPod. I think no other gadget can beat its quality, accessibility of features and design.

An application that is a lifesaver for executives.

I would say the XT9 that can integrate all input modes with the best T9 features like next word prediction, word order preference, word choice list, smart punctuation, among others, is a real lifesaver. XT9 can cut down the time wasted on keying in SMSes and also avoid spelling errors. I can safely predict that it will become a habit for us all.

Which is the next gadget you want to buy?

The next gadget on my list is the Apple iPhone, which promises to be an amazing mobile phone. The small and lightweight device, as the company claims, will have a wide screen, Internet and desktop class email, web browsing and search tools. In short, a must-have gadget.

What kind of dream machine would you like to build?

A convergence machine that can double up as a good communication, information, entertainment, and e-wallet device.

Your most embarrassing tech moment.

My experience with my first ever Bluetooth device was very embarrassing since I could not use it to communicate data.

Which is the website that you frequent the most and why?

Google "" and I don't need to qualify that.

Do you blog?

I do blog and also read textually.org and ibnblog.

What has been your biggest tech disaster?

Trying to set a remote TV management device using Wi-Fi.
