Hyderabad-based identification technology services provider Bartronics India Limited has informed that Bartronics Asia Pte Limited has received a trial purchase order for supply of RFID (radio-frequency identification) tags from the Singapore government housing and development board.
The tags manufactured in India by Bartronics India have undergone strict quality checks by the Singapore government before the order has been released. The initial order for 48,000 tags is expected to be enhanced continuously and will be used in precast concrete slabs used in public housing, the company stated in a release.
The RFID tags will enable accurate identification during the quality process of the concrete slabs before they are released by the government for construction purposes. Bartronics has won the tender against international RFID tag manufacturers.
