Bodhtree, e2e Analytix in global alliance

Hyderabad-based Bodhtree Consulting Limited, a provider of end-to-end web solutions, consultancy services and portal development, has formed a global alliance with analytical and business intelligence (BI) provider e2e Analytix Inc.

Under the alliance, e2e, a Newport Beach, California-headquartered company, will offshore its BI, data warehousing and analytics process to Bodhtree and leverage the latter's expertise in this space.

Besides, e2e will extend Bodhtree's other offerings in service oriented architecture (SOA) and web services consulting, document management, and new media publishing and archival in the North American market using its infrastructure, reach and expertise in that region.

"Offshore is a key component of our delivery mechanism as we bring in innovation and speed of delivery to our clients. Bodhtree's expertise in BI, established offshore delivery mechanism and synergy with the management team make this a strategic alliance with significant growth opportunities for both the companies," e2e chief executive and president Vik Torpunuri told mediapersons here on Thursday, adding that the alliance was expected to generate revenues of around $1 million in the first year.

Commenting on the alliance, Bodhtree's chief executive officer Sanjiv Gupta said e2e's expertise in the datawarehousing market, alliances with leading vendors like Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy and Informatica, combined with Bodhtree's offshore delivery model and diverse technology expertise, was an opportunity for both the companies to expand the BI and data management solution footprint with blue chip clients.

Bodhtree currently employs 450 professionals -- 150 in Bodhtree and 300 in Pressmart, its new media publishing and archival solutions division.

The $2-million company plans to ramp up its combined headcount to around 1,000 in the next quarter.
