Borland ties up with Pragati Soft

Borland India, a subsidiary of Borland Software Corporation, has announced that it will partner Pragati Software to offer training programme to IT professionals and students on optimising software development and delivery through better processes and technology.
 
According to the agreement, Pragati Software will run training programmes in several cities across India including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mysore, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram.
 
"The importance of process improvement and automation has increased dramatically in the effort to improve the predictability and manageability of software projects. We selected Pragati in our endeavour to make process management a required discipline in the IT industry as they have the experienced faculty and facilities to support such an advanced curriculum," Satyen Parikh, managing director, Borland India, said.
 
According to the company, the course offerings span the entire lifecycle of software development, helping IT professionals learn the processes and technology required for successful project delivery and automation.
 
Borland products that automate and enforce these processes such as the company's CaliberRM Requirements Management System and Together Visual Modeling Tool will be used to train students, it added.
