CDC Software to set up India arm

CDC Software, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CDC Corporation and a provider of industry-specific enterprise software applications and business services, announced the setting up of CDC CRM Solutions Private Ltd in India.
 
The newly set up unit will market and implement CDC Software's Pivotal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions in India.
 
Said Shubho Bhattacharya, Chief Executive Officer, CRM Solutions, CDC, "As the CRM market in India matures, we believe a system that can be deployed quickly, provides flexibility to change as the business grows. The solution provides immediate access to critical customer information via the Internet, personal digital assistants, smartphones and mobile phones."
 
The company is targetting the financial services, real estate and IT sector for growth in India. It has successfully completed its first sale of Pivotal CRM to TTK Services, a person-to-person outsourcing company headquartered in Bangalore.
 
The Pivotal CRM solution covers the Customer Lifecycle Management, including sales, marketing, service automation, partner management, and analytics with access available over a variety of applications.'
 
"Companies can leverage Pivotal CRM to help optimise efficiencies, enhance customer service, improve brand loyalty and accelerate business growth," said Nagaraja Prakasam, MD of CDC Software's operations in India. CDC operates a 300 member development centre in Bangalore.
