, executive director & COO, Net4 India, might be uptodate with all the latest gizmos but he still has his very first gadget, a 25-year-old Walkman, carefully tucked away at home. For a techie who doesn't need gizmo gurus, he's still trying to find a truly "instant'" charger.

What gadget not available in the market would you love to own?
A mobile phone that could bounce back from a wall or floor like a ball.

Is there a gizmo that keeps you stress-free?
A remote control "" it helps you to play around as much as you want. You don't have to be that cautious about dropping it, sitting on it, et cetera, and it also helps you to change your mood by effecting a change to both audio and video.

What's the one gadget you think defines you?
That would be a BlackBerry "" because it's all-in-one.

What gizmo do you think is overrated?
Blue tooth headsets. The technology has evolved for some time now, and keeping the trend of the cost drop from time of invention to a few years later in similar products, the price hasn't dropped that much in Bluetooth headphones.

Who is your gizmo guru?
Myself "" being a techie I prefer to understand, analyse and decide upon gizmos on my own. I cannot go for a gizmo just because it is "cool." It should satisfy you on some other count.

What's the one gadget that you'd love to gift?
An iPhone. That's really an electronic articraft rather than a gizmo. The way it's been designed from the functional point of view is amazing. Hats off to Steve Jobs for his imagination.

What's the first gadget you ever bought?
A Walkman, back in 1983.

Name a gadget that you regret buying.
Even though I bought a hands-free for my car, I never felt comfortable using it.

Is there a gadget you still haven't been able to figure out?
An instant charger. Gizmos are available in plenty these days. However, it takes several minutes, if not hours, to make them work, as you need to charge them. The current instant chargers available take less time than the normal chargers, but I'm yet to find one that is really instant.

What gizmo that you lost do you still feel bad about losing?
My first mobile phone.

What gizmo is now embarrassing to own?
That would have to be a pager!

Do you hold on to any gadgets that no longer work, just for their sentimental value?
Yes, I still have my first Walk-man.
