Hitachi Data Systems announces Wipro Infotech as partner

Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Limited and the only provider of services oriented storage solutions, today announced platinum partnership with Wipro Infotech.      

"This alliance will help enterprise customers across verticals avail of the wide range of services, consultation and next generation storage solutions. With this announcement, Wipro Infotech becomes the first platinum partner from India", a Hitachi release said.      

Natarajan Viswanathan, Vice-President and Managing Director, India Hitachi Data Systems said "the relationship will strengthen our foothold in different customer verticals".     

Anand Sankaran,Senior Vice-President & Business Head-India and Middle East, Wipro Infotech said "we are proud to be the only Indian APAC platinum partner for HDS. Being a complete IT solutions provider, we will invest in Hitachi's certification and training and offer custom developmnet, consulting services based on their product or solution capabilities".       

Hitachi's Trueworth Channel Partner Program has recently been awarded 2009's five-star partner program guide certification by Everything Channel, a US based company specialising in accssing, enabling, managing and accelerating technology sales channels.
