Hutch package for prepaid customers in UP East

Hutch has introduced 'Saral Roaming' and 'SMS Pack' for its prepaid customers in UP East.

Under the 'Saral Roaming' offer, Hutch (UP East) prepaid customers can activate national roaming by purchasing a recharge voucher for Rs 20, with a validity period of seven days. Saral roaming, as the name suggests enables customers to activate their roaming as per their convenience.

For instance, previously a customer had an option of paying Rs. 49 for 30 days validity for national roaming.

But with 'Saral Roaming' a customer can purchase a scratch card to activate national roaming for a period of seven days, in case they need to extend their roaming facility they can purchase 'Saral Roaming' cards in advance and activate it at any destination.

Another offer for the prepaid customers from Hutch is the 'SMS Pack'. Under the offer, on purchase of an 'SMS Pack' customers can avail 100 local SMS for only Rs. 30, to any mobile across UP and Uttaranchal. With this 'SMS Pack' the cost of SMS would now be 30p/SMS, where the standard rate of local SMS on prepaid connection being 99p.This offer has a validity of 30 days. However, if a customer purchases another 'SMS Pack' within 30 days the number of SMS will get accumulated.

Speaking on the offers, Gurdeep Singh, CEO, Hutch, UP said, "Staying mobile at all times is not a luxury anymore but a primary necessity. With the introduction of 'Saral Roaming', Hutch has taken a pioneering step towards providing seamless mobility to our prepaid subscribers in UP East. 'SMS Pack' effectively reduces the cost of text messaging by almost 70%, which is the most used form of communication today."
