Best IT World (India) Pvt Ltd., owner of computer peripherals brand 'iBall', which recently launched a range of mobile phone handsets in Gujarat, is eyeing to grab a market share of two per cent by March 2011 in the state. For the first time in India the brand has launched range of mobile phones under seven segmented categories each having unique characteristics. Under this first phase iBall presented seven distinct segments within the range of iBall mobile phones.
"There are around 8-10 lakh mobile phone handsets being sold in Gujarat. We intend to grab a market share of two per cent by March 2011 in the state. We are banking on the segmented mobile phones for sales in Gujarat," said Vikas Mundhra, branch chief executive officer, Best IT World (India) Pvt Ltd.
