Idea opens 100 service showrooms in Gujarat

Idea Cellular Ltd has set up a network of over 100 IdeaShops in Gujarat, covering 49 markets. These IdeaShops are in addition to the existing 36 Idea showrooms spread across Gujarat.

IdeaShops are exclusive service showrooms which facilitate easy access to an array of service requirements like bill payments, feature information, feature activation and new post-paid and pre-paid connections, the company said.

Vikram Mehmi, CEO, Idea Cellular, said, "Our network of 104 IdeaShops in Gujarat ensures the width and depth of reaching out to our customers. This will enable us to go closer to the customers and tighten our grip in the market."

The new markets that will be catered to by IdeaShops include Ankleshwar, Bardoli, Bhavnagar, Billimora, Godhra, Gondal, Junagarh, Khambaliya, Lunwada, Mithapur, Modasa, Nadiad, Okha, Palithana and Vallabipur, the company said.

Besides this, more IdeaShops have been set up in Ahmedabad, Baroda, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Surat and Surendranagar.
