| Major stakeholders of IT industry such as IT secretaries of various state governments, policy and decision makers from the Centre, state governments, industry associations, and various other departments of the government, would participate. |
| The event would be inaugurated by chief minister VS Achuthanandan. |
| The National e-Governance Programme (NeGP) Advocacy conference would also be organised simultaneously. The NeGP Seminar will be inaugurated on March 13 by R Chandrasekhar, additional secretary, Department of IT, Government of India. |
| RK Nair, CEO, Technopark, said, "The exhibition and seminar will see some of the major decision makers in IT discussing the prime concerns facing the IT industry in Kerala and we hope to take some firm decisions to address the same". |
| The NeGP seminar will focus on factors like service delivery infrastructure and capacity building; Kerala success stories and challenges; IT education; infrastructure and best practices in the industry. An exhibition, to be organised as part of this event, will have over 100 major IT companies showcasing their products and services. Participating companies include Sun Microsystems, Cisco, Infosys, Wirpro, Intel, NIIT, C-DAC, Sybase, Computer Associates, CMC, IBS, HP, and 3i Infotech. |
