KPIT Cummins names Guven Kivran as managing director

Based in Munich, he will be responsible for enhancing KPIT Cummins? brand and presence in Germany

KPIT Cummins anl IT consulting and product engineering partner to companies engaged in manufacturing, automotive, transportation, energy and utility, said it has appointed Güven Kivran as the Managing Director, who will handle the company’s automotive operations in Germany.

Based in Munich, he will be responsible for enhancing KPIT Cummins’ brand and presence in Germany by building local delivery capability, recruiting talent and strengthening collaboration with automotive manufacturers. Kivran will co-host the MD's post with Sanjay Mandal, president, KPIT Cummins’ German operations. Kivran joined KPIT Cummins through the company’s acquisition of In2Soft GmbH, an automotive software provider specialising in vehicle diagnostics. He brings in over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry and has been looking after the vehicle diagnostics practice of KPIT Cummins, globally.

“Germany is a pivotal geography in KPIT Cummins’ global growth strategy. We continue to see strong traction from German automotive companies for our offerings and Güven will focus on widening our presence and deepening our customer engagements. We see a significant expansion in Germany over the next two years,” Anup Sable, senior vice president, automotive and engineering, KPIT Cummins said.
