L&T Infotech, a wholly-owned subsidiary of engineering giant Larsen & Toubro, today said it has launched its MoST-i (Mobile Strategy for Insurance) framework, aimed at accelerating the adoption of mobile applications.

The MoST-i framework is designed to assist insurance companies in understanding and navigating their ecosystem by adopting mobile strategy into their broader business and IT strategies.

"MoST-i brings compelling value as it combines our insurance business expertise with a decade of experience of working with mobile handset manufacturers, operators and other industry verticals. It helps insurance companies derive fuller, distilled and sustained business value from their mobile initiatives," L&T Infotech's Senior Vice-President & Head of the Insurance Business Unit, Avinash Lele, said in a statement.

MoST-i framework offers insurance companies a robust approach for defining and implementing an actionable mobile strategy that is aligned with enterprise business and IT goals.

It will enable insurance companies to identify opportunities to leverage mobile technologies internally and externally, supported by a clearly articulated business case. The framework further establishes a strong foundation for implementation including technology platforms and operational policies, it said.
