Letv, Beijing-based manufacturer of entertainment devices, launched its range of products for the Indian market, including a 3D helmet and an internet-enabled, self-powered bicycle.

Besides the two-wheeler’s sleek design, it also recharges the battery on board. The bicycle’s 8,400 mAh battery, can be charged simply by pedalling. The Letv Super Cycle runs its own operating system and user interface, which manages its handlebars, lighting systems, built-in walkie-talkie, speedometer, light-intensity recorder, and weather and GPS module. One can guard the bicycle against thefts, not with locks and chains, but with ones fingerprint, as the Super Cycle sports a fingerprint scanner. There is built-in cloud storage for the cycling data and one can connect to the bike across platforms and devices.

Letv also unveiled the Le 3D Helmet, a virtual reality device with a 5.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,560x1,440p, with a virtual 1,000-inch screen projected at 15 meters. Weighing in at less than 450 g, the helmet comes with a USB type-C port to connect with the user’s phone.

Apart from these, the company also launched the brightly coloured Bluetooth headphones, LeMe EB30, which has a 195 mAh battery, built-in microphones, and a 20mw speaker.
