LG launches G4 in India for Rs 51,000

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan on Friday unveiled LG’s latest offering, the LG G4 at Mumbai’s NSCI Stadium. The company’s first leather and DSLR packed phone is being hailed as “the most ambitious phone from LG.” 

With a 16 MP rear camera and a rare 8 MP front camera loaded with DSLR features, the G4 is clearly focusing on being a visual treat. The advanced camera in the LG G4 contains Color Spectrum Sensor (CSS), the first feature of its kind in a smartphone

LG G4 also claims to be the first smartphone to use LG Display’s new 5.5-inch IPS Quantum Display ensuring better picture quality and contrast.

Available in brown, black and red the G4 flaunts a leather back. The phone appears sleek and is slightly curved giving it a unique look. The LG G4 is equipped with a high-capacity 3,000 mAh removable battery, which is hardly seen among the latest smartphones available in the market.

The LG G4 is the first phone to add the new human-centric UX 4.0 to its kitty which guarantees a more personal understanding to the user’s need. The improved UX provides more options for advanced users.

Priced at 51,000 the G4 had created a lot of buzz even before its launch. Amitabh Bachchan’s endorsement has further intensified the curiosity regarding this LG endeavour.
