Automotive dealers, looking for cutting expenses on sales forces and increasing the conversion rate of prospective buyers can see this product as a shot in their arms.

Logix Microsystems, a provider of e-retailing solutions for the automotive industry, has come out with a solution which aims at training sales agents on how to close the sale at the earliest by better understanding the psychology of the prospective buyers.

Named as iConsult, the solutions will provide comprehensive customer centric sales performance coaching programme and methodologies of closing the sale.

The personalised coaching which uses interactive email templates, phone scripts as well as comprehensive workbooks, will be delivered to the automotive dealer's sales staff by certified performance coaches, said the Bangalore-based company.

"With the slowdown in the automotive market, improving sales processes is one way dealers can lower their cost. Logix is committed to help automotive dealers win in these difficult times, by focusing on sales performance rather than cutting corners," said Sanjay Soni, MD, Logix Microsystems.

He said the programme has been designed to provide the sales agents with the content and principles to increase the conversion ratios and sales while lowering the cost per car sold.

iConsult has incorporated the psychology of how people buy vehicles and helps the automobile dealer sales staff understand how to create a relationship with the prospect and close the sale at the earliest.

Apart from automotive solutions, Logix also offers packaged product solutions in areas of connectivity, security and interoperability as a part of its Enterprise Product division.

However, automotive solutions including the company's flagship products like izmocars and carazoo.com, contributed about 94 per cent to the company's topline of Rs 46 crore as reported in fiscal 2007-08.
