| In the first such funding in the Indian services space, HSBC Private Equity Technology, a Hong Kong-based venture fund, has pumped in $3.8 million (Rs 16.5 crore) into Meritrac Services. This has helped MeriTrac plan its expansion. MeriTrac is all set to expand into the major cities across the country. |
| The next two targets of MeriTrac for setting up the centres are Chennai and Mumbai. It will set up a centre in Kolkata, which, says Madan Padaki, co-founder and director, MeriTrac Services, "Will open the doors to the North-East." |
