Nuance to buy Focus Infomatics

Nuance Communications, a provider of speech solutions, has announced a definitive agreement whereby it will acquire Focus Infomatics, a healthcare speech recognition editing services organisation, for $58 million (around Rs 260 crore).

The acquisition is expected to expand Nuance's ability to deliver web-based speech recognition editing services.
