Ringing in Valentine's day, the Hutch way

In an effort to make Valentine's Day an occasion to remember for its subscribers, Hutchison Essar, one of the four GSM service providers in UP (West), launched the 'Hutch 123 Valentine Offer' and 'Caller Tunes Offer' for its subscribers on Thursday.

Company sources claimed that Hutch subscribers generating maximum usage on the Hutch 123 dial-in service could win a Nokia 6610i.

For those wishing to download caller tunes without bothering their pocket, the company presented an opportunity to download a popular song from Bluffmaster (Right Here Right Now...) absolutely free for a month with both the offers remaining valid till March 7 2006.

According to Rohit Adya, COO, Hutchison Essar, (UP West), Hutch had introduced a special 'Valentines Day' content on the 'Dial-a-Song' and 'Dating' services available on Hutch 123 dial-in service, though which Hutch subscribers could send musical greetings on Valentines Day to their loved ones. Instead of a plain text message, subscribers could select a song as an attachment, record their message and send it as a personalised greeting. To avail this offer, all they has to do was to call 123 and say 'dial-a-song'.

According to Adya, Hutch subscribers availing the 'Caller Tunes offer' could download the 'Bluffmaster' song without having to pay Rs 30 for the first month of usage, with rental for subsequent months for prepaid subscribers being deducted from recharges.
