Servion plans expansion in India, US

| The company has set up a new 11,000 sq ft facility, which will have a seating capacity for about 150 people, on the IT corridor at Taramani, Chennai. It has also opened new facilities in New Jersey and California in the US. |

| "We will require huge expansion in terms of people to support our growth," a company official told Business Standard. The company is also planning to acquire more space in Chennai. |
| "The pipeline is pretty strong and we expect to ramp-up our India operations further by the end of 2006. We plan to increase our employee strength to 460 by the second quarter and expand this further by the year-end," K Balakrishnan, managing director and chief executive officer, Servion, said in a release. |
| As part of its expansion in Chennai, the company will shift its global development organisation and overseas software development teams to the new facility. |
