Sify launches 3D online game in Pune

Sify Ltd, India's premier Internet, networking and e-commerce services company, On Saturday launched A3, India's first 3D online game, at Sify Gamedromes and iWays in Pune.
 
Shrikant Joshi, president (access media), Sify, said, "A3 is the country's first action-packed 3D massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG). It offers realistic 3D effects, dynamic environments, loads of players to compete against or make friends with, contests and events- both within the game and outside. Internet users can access and use A3 from home through a broadband connection, or visit Sify's Gamedromes or iWays for an action-packed experience with friends."
 
Sify has brought A3 in partnership with Actoz of Korea, with the contents of the game modified to suit Indian tastes and sensibilities.
 
Every section of the game, its graphics and all media related to A3 have undergone careful scrutiny to ensure that the game is completely acceptable to an universal audience.
 
Its characters are placed in a medieval setting, with exciting kingdoms, rulers, armies, as well as populated with monsters to make it more challenging.
 
Sify will unleash an awareness campaign in Pune soon. In addition, an attractive A3 float will take the game's presence to the streets.
 
The float will move across the city for seven days, conducting fun activities, explaining the game and distributing coupons of 2 hours free practice time at Sify Gamedromes.
 
A3 can be accessed from literally anywhere with a broadband connection as it is hosted on servers for access over the Internet. Sify will be distributing free CDs of the game client. The final contest is scheduled for January 25 in Pune.
