Tata Indicom launches post-paid at Malda

Tata Indicom has launched its post-paid services for people of Malda in West Bengal.
 
A wide range of handsets would be available with tariff plans that suit individual requirements. Prices range between Rs 1,399 onwards along with the connection.
 
Monthly rentals start Rs 124 onwards.
 
Indicom 10, a wireless desktop phone that can be installed anywhere within a state where Tata Indicom network coverage is available, would also be available at Malda.
 
The VData Card "�Huwaei EC321 was also launched in Malda.
 
A convergence product, the Tata Indicom VData Card encompasses the functions of a wireless network card, a mobile phone and a modem.
 
In addition to high-speed data, users can actually make and receive voice calls.
 
Tata Indicom has also recently launched the Tata Indicom Wireline Service for the Business To Business (B2B) customer segment of Kolkata.
 
A new Alcatel 1000 MM E10 Switch has been installed in the city to cater to the needs of the target customers.
 
Alcatel 1000 MM E10 has been designed for a multiservice and multimedia environment.
 
The Subscriber Access Unit (CSN) efficiently extends the reach of a switch to rural or high-density networks "� and everywhere in between.
 
With this initiative, the wireline customers too would enjoy better call completion rate, reduced network congestion, reduced costs and increased operation-maintenance efficiency.
 
The business houses get to choose from a range of tariff plans.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Abhijit Pal, Circle Operating Officer, Kolkata Circle, Tata Teleservices Limited said, "The installation of the Alcatel 1000 MM E 10 Wireline Switch is a part of our endeavour to reach out to more customers in the B2B segment of Kolkata."
 
Indicom 10 caters to the needs of the residential and business community making it a multi-purpose device.
 
It comes with speaker phone and is well suited for high speed internet connectivity.
 
A subscriber opting for Indicom 10 could call anywhere in India at Re 1 per minute under the Rs 350 plan.
 
Some of the corporate houses which have already opted for Tata Indicom Wireline Services are PricewaterhouseCoopers, Metaljunction, ICICI, Deutsche Bank, ING Bank, etc.
