WNS bullish on F&A deals from emerging verticals

India’s second largest business process outsourcing (BPO) company, WNS Global Services, is bullish on its finance and accounting (F&A) services, especially from emerging verticals like consumer products, logistics and utilities.

“A lot of activity is happening in the F&A space, especially in consumer companies. In the emerging verticals, we have used a multi-pronged approach for F&A, besides investing in hiring talent with industry expertise,” said Anup Gupta, COO.

The deal sizes in F&A range $100-250 million. WNS offers services like accounts receivable, billing and cash application, collections, management accounting, claims management and loan account maintenance, among other services, to its clients as part of F&A. It signed a multi-year agreement with Chiquita Brands International, a US-based marketer of fruit products, to deliver finance and accounting back-office services to the latter’s business entities in North America, Europe and Latin America.
