Kerala chief minister VS Achuthanandan on Thursday inaugurated the work on the development of third phase of Technopark.
Promising all support to the IT-ITeS sector in the state, he said various IT parks were also coming up in Kasaragod, Kannur, Ambalapuzha, Cherthala and Kollam.
The inauguration was marked with the commencement of construction of the new 110 KV sub-station at the proposed site in Kulathoor close to Technopark.
To be developed over 92 acres, it will be be implemented as an IT-ITeS SEZ and is expected to provide direct employment to over 35,000 professionals.
