Ybrant Digital, a Hyderabad-based provider of digital marketing solutions, has been officially chosen as one of the 20 Facebook’s marketing application programming interface (API) partners.
Ybrant Digital would integrate the Facebook marketing API in order to help advertisers scale up their Facebook presence. Official marketing partners can develop proprietary third-party tools that offer advance ad creation, campaign management, reporting and further areas of specialisation.
Facebook launched its marketing programme on July 3, 2011 in order to improve the marketing efforts from brands and agencies in the entire Facebook platform, as well as spread the voice about new features and best practices for digital marketing on Facebook.
Ybrant Digital, which has been providing Facebook Ads solutions since 2009, has already developed Ybrant FBM (Facebook Marketing) , the flagship Facebook Ads product, which is an in-house tool that leverages the Ads API to serve an enhanced advertising solution.
In India, Facebook has the highest reach with 24 million people accessing it, followed by Google’s Orkut with 18 million. Together, they cater to 90 per cent of the users of social media sites. It is estimated that Rs 85 crore was spent on social networking sites last year and is expected to grow 25 per cent this financial year.
