SuperOps.ai said on Tuesday it had raised $12.4 million in funding, bringing total investments in the software-as-a-service company to $29.4 million.

The Series B funding was led by Addition and March Capital, with participation from Matrix Partners India. SuperOps.ai will use the new funding to improve its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The company’s AI framework helps managed service providers (MSPs) in assisting clients and improving efficiency.

SuperOps.ai, which was founded by Indians, puts the information technology (IT) management processes of MSPs on a unified platform, enabling them to move away from fragmented tools. The company said its customers had increased 300 per cent in the last 12 months.

“The IT support landscape has been evolving rapidly and MSPs need to keep up to navigate this fast-changing world,” said Arvind Parthiban, co-founder and chief executive officer of SuperOps.ai.

“Traditionally, MSPs relied on a mix of tools that resulted in high costs and lack of visibility and efficiency. With SuperOps.ai, they can move from outdated point products to a unified platform that is built specifically with their needs in mind,” said Parthiban, who is based in Chennai.

“SuperOps.ai’s customer growth is a testament to their ability to empower MSPs to thrive in an ever-changing IT support landscape,” said Tarun Davda, managing director, Matrix Partners India.

SuperOps.ai’s platform allows MSPs to include network monitoring as a service without having to add it as a separate tool. The $280 billion MSP industry is dominated by small and medium-sized businesses that are struggling as the technology tools they use have not seen innovations for years, said the company.

“SuperOps.ai is revolutionizing how MSPs run and grow their operations and is ushering them into the future,” said Todd Arfman of Addition.

SuperOps.ai is signing partnerships with vendors in cybersecurity, payments and data backup to ensure MSPs have complete technology support.

“We believe they are well-positioned to drive innovation in the underserved MSP market,” said Ravi Rajamony, vice president at March Capital.

SuperOps.ai said it is committed to increasing its investments and presence in the US. It appointed Juan Fernandez as channel chief in the US earlier this month to lead the company in building value for MSPs.
