Chembond Chemicals, one of the leading manufacturers of specialty chemicals, is planning to form a joint venture with German’s Calvatis, which produces and distributes detergents and disinfectants under the brand Calgonit. The board of directors of Chembond at its meeting held on May 11, 2015, has approved the plan to enter into joint venture agreement with Calvatis GmbH, Ladenburg, Germany, as per the company’s BSE filing.
With production facilities and offices in several countries, Calvatis is considered to be one of the largest independent suppliers for comprehensive hygiene management systems.
