MRPL's delayed coker unit goes on stream
With this, the company will be able to increase production of high-value products
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), has informed BSE that the Delayed Coker Unit (DCU) of 3 MMTPA, which is part of the refinery up-gradation cum expansion project, goes on stream today, ie April 3, 2014. With this, MRPL’s fuel oil production will come down drastically with corresponding increase in high-value products.
