Pfizer Limited managing director Aijaz Tobaccowalla has resigned from the post effective from October 16, 2015. The company had intimidated BSE about Tobaccowalla’s intention to step down from his position on June 05, 2015.
Pfizer has announced that S Sridhar, executive director, business unit and distribution head, will manage the day-to-day operations of the company till successor to Tobaccowalla is appointed by the board.
Aijaz Tobaccowalla was appoint in replace Kewal Handa as the managing director of Pfizer India in August 2012.
