Indore Group touches new milestone, lays foundation stone to expand the Tangier, Morocco FRP Rod Capacity.

Tangier, Morocco – Indore Composite Pvt. Ltd., the leading global supplier of cable protection solutions for fiber-optic and power cables, laid the foundation stone of a new plant in the Tangier Free Zone. The focus of the new plant will be to accommodate the growing demand for FTTH & 5G cables, while at the same time enabling greater proximity with a global customer base.

Covering 20000 sq. meters, the new plant will double the production capacity of the company in the region and allow it to service an extended range of products. With this expansion scheduled to be completed in Q2 2022, Indore Composite Pvt Ltd will have the largest FRP Rods production capacity in the world amounting to 8 million Kilometres per annum. It will also introduce a highly automated UV curing technology, the first of its kind in Africa. The new facility will generate employment for 400 people and will play a major role in developing an ecosystem for the Optical fiber cable and advanced composite industry in the region. The new facility will also have a dedicated R&D centre, focused on innovations around new age reinforcement solutions.
