India skipper Jasprit Bumrah and Ireland captain Paul Stirling made no changes to their sides from the first game and played with the same playing 11 in the second match at The Village in Dubin

Jasprit Bumrah led India aimed to seal the series when they play against Paul Stirling’s Ireland in the second match of the three-match T20 international series August 20, 2023 at The Village in Dublin. India were 1-0 up in the series and did not make any changes to the winning combination.

It was expected that Arshdeep Singh's form might become a worry for him and India and either Avesh Khan or Mukesh Kumar could replace him India's Playing 11 for 2nd T20 vs Ireland. But the Bumrah-led side persisted with him. 

Ireland have been playing T20 cricket in the recent World Cup qualification and if they wished to be too hard, they could have removed former captain Andy Balbirnie from the playing 11 and replace him with all-rounder Gareth Delany. But that did not happen as Ireland too wnet in with the same playing 11 that played the first match.
