ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 updated points table

India maintained the top position on the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 after the England vs Afghanistan match on Sunday (October 15). The five-time champions Australia dropped to the last spot as they have already lost two matches in the ICC World Cup. The Kangaroos are hoping to earn their first points when they lock horns with Sri Lanka at Lucknow's Ekana Stadium. Afghanistan earned their first points in the ICC Cricket World Cup and moved to sixth position on the World Cup 2023 points table.

India have six points in three matches and the best net run rate among 10 teams. India are followed by New Zealand and South Africa. With one in three matches, England are at the 5th spot below Pakistan.
